Importance of English language has been widely acknowledged all over the world. English is the medium of global communication and a vehicle of international business and commerce. A world without English is unthinkable today. English serves as a common platform for people from different parts of the globe to express themselves in myriad ways. English is capable of breaking the barriers of linguistic and geographic boundaries. People have realized the significance of English language, and in turn, they are keen to send their children to English medium schools. This situation has resulted in mushrooming of English medium schools all over Kerala in recent years. English medium education is no longer a luxury as it was thought to be till a few years ago.

JDT Islam authority realized the significance of English medium education quite earlier. And this led to the establishment of IQRAA English Medium School in the year 1991, which has, within a short period of time, become a centre of excellence and distinction in education. In 1998, the first batch of students passed out with flying colours. The school has secured cent percent results in the public examinations held during the years 1999 and 2000. Presently, there are 500 students studying here. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the school render their commendable service in bringing about success in every aspect. Being a recognized one, the school started its unaided Plus 2 courses last year. It makes an earnest effort to shape and refine the young learners and carry them to the apex of success.
