JDT Islam College of Pharmacy Physical Education Teacher Abhilash P.A. has received the FSSA Council's Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year Award in Gurugram, Haryana.He is Pinangode Native and has achieved many achievements before this and this year he has been selected as the head coach of Kerala Health Science University.He was awarded the certificate and certificate at the graduation ceremony held on 6th March 2024 in Kochi.It was presented by Gurneet Singh Dua, CEO of FSSA Council.FSSA Councils Strength and Conditioning course bridges the gap between science and application by giving students the “how” of helping athletes achieve any sport-related goal. With this course, not only will you learn the exercise science behind strength and conditioning, but exactly how to create the perfect training program for any athlete. This is the only Strength and Conditioning certification which is fully accredited by CEPI [Coalition of Exercise Professionals of India].

Hirfana V.P a first year dpharm student of JDT’ Islam college of pharmacy , is an achiever of Indian book of records for her outdoor artwork done in 8 minutes ,27 seconds and 10 milliseconds. This 18 year old girl has been doing event management with her family for the past one year , and so far she has done 70 events.

JDT Islam College of Nursing qualified for the finals of the Kerala University of Health Science Intercollegiate Football Championship. The semifinals were held at KMCT Medical College from December 31 to January 3.JDT Islam College of Nursing came second in the tournament, beating Dr. Moopen's Medical College, the former champions. There were 56 teams in total and JDT Islam College of Nursing qualified for the finals after winning 6 matches. The Interzone Competitions will be held at Calicut Medical College from January 15 to 17.

As part of our National Service Scheme (NSS) programme, a successful Blood Donation Camp was organized in collaboration with IQRAA International Hospital on 23rd November 2023 at our college premises. The primary objective was to contribute to the noble cause of ensuring an ample and steady blood supply for those in need. Collaboration with IQRAA International Hospital added a professional touch to the event, ensuring proper medical supervision and guidance throughout the donation process. A total of 67 units of blood were collected during the camp.The enthusiasm and willingness of participants reflected the sense of social responsibility within the college community.To acknowledge and express gratitude to the donors, Certificates of Appreciation were distributed. This gesture not only recognizes the donors' contribution but also serves as an incentive for future participation.The 67 units of blood collected will undoubtedly contribute a positive impact. We extend our sincere appreciation to all donors, volunteers, and our esteemed partner, IQRAA International Hospital, for making this event a meaningful and impactful initiative.

Another golden feather in the cap of JDT Islam. JDT Islam Private ITI, which operates under the JDT Islam Orphanage and Educational Institutions, has initiated new batches for plumber and stenography certificate courses for differently-abled students. The inauguration of these courses was conducted by the honorable Minister of Public Works and Tourism, Kerala, Sri Mohammad Riyas. Dr. P.C. Anvar, President of JDT Islam Orphanage and Educational Institutions, presided over the function. In this academic year, 41 students have the opportunity to excel in their future by studying at our well-established institution and receive a quality education.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department Association Programme "ECLATZ 3.O" for the academic year 2023-24 was conducted on 26th October 2023.The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Principal Mr. Manuel George who officially inaugurated the program. Chief Guest Mr. Sooraj Kenoth, Director, Wahini Green Technologies PVT LTD, delivered an Informative talk on the topic "Quality & Costing of Renewable Energy Sources". Presidential address was delivered by Ms. Sareena Abdul Rasheed, HOD of EEE Department. The welcome address was presented by Mr. Shikhil.A.M, Coordinator of the EEE Association. The HOD of the Computer Department, Mr. Vipin Raj N delivered felicitation to the EEE Association. Mr. Abhinav K.R, EEE Association Secretary explained the action plan for this year. Mr. Nikhil Lal, Association Joint Secretary delivered the vote of thanks. Prize distribution to winners were done.The evening was filled with cultural performances of students and brought an entertaining end to the event.

The ECO(Energy Conservation) Club of JDT Islam Polytechnic College in association with Faculty from Calicut University conducted a LED Bulb repairing workshop for students of JDT Islam High School on October 21st at JDT Islam High School. Old LED bulbs were collected and repaired during the workshop. The event was a great initiative to reduce plastic waste due to discarded LED bulbs.

JDT lslam college of pharmacy's students displayed true talent during their participation in KUHS north zone arts fest held on October 9,10,11 and 12 at Kannur Government medical college, pariyaram. Their wonderful performance had pulled off several prizes. The categories entered in were oppana,Vattappattu, group song ,Mappilappattu, Recitation, Elocution, Pencil drawing ,essay writing. The victory includes second prize in recitation Malayalam- Arundhathi R nath , second prize in essay writing English - Aysha fasna ,Third prize in Vattappattu - Mohammed rizwin, Asbin mohammed, Fahim zakariya, Anasul Hakeem, Mohammed Nashif, Alen K R, Abdhul gani, Arshad, Shabil mohammed .This victory is really deserving. It is a proud moment for JDT family. All the more congratulations to the winners, participants and all those who were behind the curtain.

As a part of World Mental Health Day on October 10th, a quiz competition was conducted by Tele. MANAS Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Kozhikode. The winners are Mr. Aflah Abdulla (IV B.sc Nursing) and Fidha Jamaludheen (lll B.sc Nursing) of JDT Islam College of Nursing.

The ISTE Student Chapter of JDT Islam Polytechnic organized 'ORIENTATE 2K23,' an orientation program for newly enrolled first-year students and lateral entry students of the year 2023, on October 5, 2023. The program featured Prof. O V Asokan, SMC Member-ISTE and Principal of Model Polytechnic College, Vatakara, as the resource person, who delivered a session on the topic: "Professional Organizations' Support for Technical Academies." Additionally, an alumni talk was conducted by Mr. Muhammed Yasin M, Founder and CEO of upskill’d and Ex-creative designer of codeshod, on the topic of "Visual Storytelling." The event witnessed the participation of over 200 students. The program was inaugurated by Principal Manuel George, presided over by ISTE Secretary Mrs.Ruksana T P, and felicitated by Faculty Advisor Mr. Ajay Anand A. JDT Islam IGNOU Study Centre held a Cleanliness Campaign at Chelavoor village, Kozhikkode on 1 October 2023 in connection with the nationwide Swachhata Hi Sewa Garbage Free India Mission recollecting the great memories of Mahatma Ganddhi. Dr. Jayasshree, the Chairperson, Health Standing Committee, Kozhikkode Corporation, inaugurated the event by taking pledge for Garbage Free India. JDT Islam Football Team consisting of the students of JDT Islam Higher Secondary and VHSS under 19 category won the Chevayur Sub District School Football Championship. JDT team defeated NGO Quarters Govt. Higher Secondary School in the match held at JDT Islam Main Ground.

Calicut: Four NCC Cadets from JDT Islam institutes to Thal Sainik camp where Participating NCC Cadets from various states of India. The All India Tal Sainik Camp will be held in Delhi from 19th to 29th of this month. Ayesha Tabassum, daughter of Moozhikal Abdul Kabir and Rahmat Nisha, a 9th class student of JDT Islam High School. MT Shruti is a third year student of JDT ISLAM Arts College and is the daughter of Peruwayal Sunil Kumar and Nimni. Hisham Ashraf, 3rd year mechanical engineering student of JDT Islam Hassanaji Memorial Polytechnic College and son of Ashraf and Hajara couple of Nathapuram Vanimel North. Muhammad Safwan, second year student of JDT Islam Polytechnic Mechanical Engineering and son of Koloth and Kadav Cholakuzhi Veeran Kutty and Munira couple, are participating in the camp. They got a place in the 91 member team of Kerala and Lakshadweep NCC Directorate. They participate in firing, obstacle training and tent pitching. Also, competitions are held between 17 directorates in the fields of map reading, field craft, health and hygiene and firing.

The 'My JDT Clean JDT' initiative started as part of the JDT Campus Comprehensive Cleaning Project. The poster release held at the JDT main office was by Secretary Dr. Idrees, Committee Officers Hilal Hasan, Muhammad Qasim and Veerankutty, Administrative Officer KK Hameed.

NSS and NCC Unit of JDT Islam Polytechnic college conducted Mega Blood Donation Camp on 11th September 2023 from 8.30 AM to 12.30 PM at ICT Hall (Near JDT Islam Convention centre). The Camp is conducted in Association with GWHC Kottapparambu and IQRAA International Hospital. The Mega Blood Donation Camp included Blood Donation Camp, Blood Group Detection and Eye testing.

"Polytechnics NSS unit is the best NSS unit under the technical cell in the state. Once again, NSS unit HHM JDT Islam Polytechnics College has achieved the best NSS unit under the technical cell in Kerala. During the academic year 2022-23, the NSS unit of the polytechnic has conducted 200+ programs and activities in various sectors. One of the prestigious projects called 'Punergeni' was associated with Kozhikode Medical College, and our volunteers repaired the medical equipment for a value of one crore. Our NSS program officer, Mr. Sadiq AM, Lecturer in the Automobile department, bagged the state award for the best program officer. Mr. Dilu Nihal, a 3rd-year Electrical and Electronic engineering student, was honored as the best NSS volunteer in the state. Ms. Lubna E and Amruth E bagged the top scorer award in the state."

The Civil Engineering Department of JDT Islam Polytechnic College released their most prestigious creation of this academic year – 2nd Edition Magazine - VAZHIVILAKKE-23, on 6th July 2023. The Chief Guest of this function was Dr. Maqbool T K (Principal, JDT Arts, and Science College). On this occasion, the chief guest inspired the audience with valuable words on “Balancing Ethics and Profession” and emphasized not to compromise on quality and moral values as a Civil Engineer. Principal Mr. Manuel George, Civil Department HOD Ms. Shabana Mansoor, Staff editor Ms. Suba, Student editor Mr. Muhammed Fahad P.C, and all students and staff members of the Civil Department participated in the function.

"TALAASH 2K23" HHM JDT Islam Polytechnic College celebrated its annual day, "TALAASH 2K23," on the 25th of June 2023. The honorable secretary of JDT Islam Orphanage and Educational Institutions, Dr. IDREES, inaugurated the program. Principal Manuel George, Students Academic Council staff coordinator Ms. Remya M K, Senior Lecturer Ms. Lisha AP, Students Union Chairman Mr. Aswin P Krishna, and all HODs graced the occasion. Some spectacular performances from the students added to the program. Kerala's most popular and highly anticipated band, "Street Academics," also performed at the event.

On the occasion of World Photography Day, J. D. T Islam College of Arts and Science Department of Multimedia conduct Exhibition of Over 100 Cameras of 200 Years old. It was held at JDT Convention Center. In the event, J. D. T Joint Secretary Hilal Hassan performed the inauguration. Principal Dr. Maqbool T. Jimmy John, Head of K Multimedia Department was also present. Program led by Assistant Professor Muhammad Rauf K.

JDT Islam New Hope English Medium School Students house wise performance of different activities based on CBSE Malabar sahodaya kalotsav 2023. The festival provides a platform for students to share their talents and creativity with their peers and the broader school community. The school held the ceremony with great enthusiasm. It was the occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being an important and integral part of the administrative body, is formed every year.
